A Piece to Ponder
He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God -Micah 6:8 New Revised Standard Version of the Bible
One of the scribes came near and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, he asked [Jesus], "Which commandment is the first of all?" Jesus answered, "The first is, 'Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one; you shall love the Lord your God with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." -Mark 12: 28-31 New Revised Standard Version of the Bible
St. Paul Congregation seeks to be a place where each one gathered can reflect God's presence with us in Jesus Christ. That presence of God can be called "church." That presence of God is hopefully experienced as, for example, graciousness, hospitality, compassion, forgiveness. We welcome your gifts to be a part of that reflection with us and for the world. These gifts are God-given, God-enhanced and God-directed for the service of others, our own well being and to God's glory.
If you are in the area please be our guest. We extend a warm welcome to you and invite you to be part of reflecting God's presence through and with St. Paul Congregation.
